During the Toybox port to NuttX, Claude noticed that changes in the
menuconfig weren't taking affect. This issue exists for a long time on
NuttX, in fact BayLibre's presentation from 2017 make jokes about our
building system not been reliable:

Stale archive members from $(AR)'s additive-only behavior can linger
after Kconfig toggles change which files provide a symbol, causing dead
weight or "multiple definition" link errors on incremental builds.
Fixed by splitting ARCHIVE into two macros: ARCHIVE keeps the original
additive behavior for apps/libapps.a, which many independent
subdirectories contribute to across a build, while the new
ARCHIVE_REBUILD deletes then archives for the far more common case
of a single Makefile building its own self-contained $(OBJS)
- all 39 such call sites now use it.

arch/x86 set CROSSDEV only under Cygwin, so everywhere else the build used
the bare tool names and got the host compiler. On Linux that is a native
gcc which can produce i486 ELF objects, which is what the board README
assumes. On macOS it is Apple clang, and on Apple Silicon that cannot
target i386 in any form -- so there is no configuration in which the default
works and a cross toolchain is not optional.
Default it to i686-elf-, which Homebrew packages and which accepts the
-march=i486 -mtune=i486 already in ARCHCPUFLAGS. arch/x86_64 has had
exactly this stanza for its own toolchain all along; this is the same shape.
The Cygwin assignment becomes ?= to match, so that a CROSSDEV passed in from
the environment or the command line is honoured rather than overridden.
Note for anyone tempted by the toolchain they already have: a 64-bit x86
compiler with -m32 is not a substitute unless it was built with multilib.
Homebrew's x86_64-elf-gcc compiles 32-bit objects perfectly happily and has
no 32-bit libgcc to link them against, so the entire build succeeds and only
the final link fails, on __udivdi3, __divdi3, __moddi3 and __udivmoddi4.
`x86_64-elf-gcc -print-multi-lib' prints just `.;', which is the toolchain
saying so up front.

Description:
In kernel builds, any unprivileged process running on the NuttX device
can open /dev/efuse and attempt to read/write fuse content. Reading the
fuses may provide valuable information to an attacker controlling the user
process. The write operation, in extreme cases where the fuse blocks are
not locked, may brick the device.

it is not important, since the goal is get graphic mode working.

debug.h is a NuttX-specific, non-POSIX header. Placing it in the
top-level include/ directory creates naming conflicts with external
projects that define their own debug.h.
This commit moves the canonical header to include/nuttx/debug.h,
following the NuttX convention for non-POSIX/non-standard headers,
and updates all in-tree references.
A backward-compatibility shim is left at include/debug.h that
emits a deprecation #warning and re-includes <nuttx/debug.h>,
allowing out-of-tree code to continue building while migrating.

Add validation to ensure allocated stack size does not exceed TLS_MAXSTACK when
CONFIG_TLS_ALIGNED is enabled, and verify proper stack alignment using STACK_ALIGN_MASK
across all architectures. This improves stack safety and prevents potential TLS overflow conditions.

Rename STACK_ALIGNMENT macro to STACKFRAME_ALIGN throughout the codebase
to provide clearer naming semantics. The new name better reflects the macro's
purpose of frame alignment rather than general stack alignment.

Move stack alignment and kernel stack macros from architecture-specific internal
headers to public include/nuttx/irq.h. Consolidates duplicate definitions across
17 architecture families, reducing code duplication while enabling common code
to access these core alignment utilities without architecture dependencies.

After addrenv_switch(), the current running task (this_task) may change due to
deferred work execution. Update all architecture interrupt, syscall, and exit
handlers to re-fetch tcb = this_task() after addrenv_switch(). Ensures scheduler
and context operations use the correct TCB, preventing context corruption and
exceptions across SMP and memory-protected builds.

Many different architectures re-implemented the exact same code for
`up_*delay` because it was originally written as architecture dependent
code. Busy-waiting can be done regardless of architecture, so this
commit moves that duplicated implementation to a common file with weak
definitions so that individual architectures (see tc32) are still able
to override the definition if needed/desired.
Default implementation is not included if ARCH_TIMER is enabled, since
it is more accurate and provides its own weak definitions to override.

2. -mllvm is the parameter passing method of Clang, and --param is the parameter passing method of GCC

Summary:
- Added LLVM target definitions (`LLVM_ARCHTYPE`, `LLVM_CPUTYPE`, `LLVM_ABITYPE`) to the x86 toolchain configuration file
- These definitions are necessary for compatibility with LLVM-based toolchains
Impact:
- Enables support for LLVM toolchains when building for x86 targets
- No functional changes for existing GCC-based toolchains
- Improves cross-compilation flexibility by supporting additional toolchain options

reason:
When entering an exception or interrupt, there are two sets of registers:
one is the "running regs", which we need to save,
and the other is the "ready to running regs", which we may soon use.
For consistency in logic, we can always store the "running regs" in the regs field of g_running_tasks,
otherwise it may lead to errors in the storage location of the "running regs."
When we need to access the "running regs," we should uniformly retrieve them from the regs field of g_running_tasks.
As the next step, we will rename the set_current_regs/up_current_regs functions
for each architecture to more appropriate names, solely for the purpose of identifying interrupts.
